So if you don't want quotation marks around something, don't put them there. We can't read your mind, so please be precise. | How can I send my logo or list of names to you? |
Option 1
Enter in option box during order
This option is ideal for small orders or orders where the same information will be engraved multiple times for the same product. If using this option, you can just add the product to your cart one at a time adding the individual engraving to each new item. If you have graphics, you will need to email them directly after placing the order.
Option 2
E-mail information and graphics directly
This option is good for any size order. Once you complete your order you will receive an email with the order details. You can reply directly to that email with your engraving details (don't forget any attachments). Alternately, you can send the details to info(at)space-engravers.com (replace with @) anytime before, during or after your order is complete.
Option 3
Call on phone
Although this option is available, it is NOT preferred. We have found that mistakes happen in spellings or words get mixed up when receiving the info over the phone. Even if we take your order over the phone, we may request that you email the details to us. This is just safer for everyone.

| How do you format my award? Do I have to specify which words I want bigger? |
A. You are welcome to send us (in Word or Power Point) the exact layout you want and if the award will accomodate, we will provide that layout. But don't worry, we are very experienced at determining the best layout for an item. Generally speaking we will center the text and graphics from left to right and top to bottom. Spacing between lines, text size, and logo size will all depend on the item being engraved. To provide special instructions you can email us or:
1. Select all options for your trophy or award.
2. Enter your engraving in the basic engraving option field (unles emailing it later).
3. Click on the add to cart button.
4. After filling in the basic shipping information, you will see a blank area for "Special Instructions" towards the bottom of the page. Enter all of your engraving and special instructions in this section.

| Can I add graphics or dividing lines? |
| Of course you can! As long as you can provide us with a high quality image, we can engrave it. We also have a wide range of dividers we can add between text. If you want us to pick, just put a note in the special instructions...something like "add a dividing line (or graphic) between name and date" and we will pick what looks good. |

| How much does it cost to ship my item? |
| This is a tough question. We give you an estimate at checkout, but it might change because of the custom nature of the awards business. We do NOT make money on shipping though, so rest assured that we will do our best to keep your shipping within budget. For more details, check out our Policies page. |

| What is your return policy? |
| If you are unsatisfied with the quality of our work, you may ship it back to us (if applicable) and we will refund your purchase price (excluding return shipping). If there is a mistake on our part, we will replace or refund fully. If the mistake is the customer's fault, we will replace the item or fix as applicable at the customer's request and expense (though usually a reduced cost from initial purchase price). | What if I received something damaged? |
| If you received an item damaged, please contact us immediately for options. Some items we can replace immediately so you don't miss your deadline and some we may require the item to be shipped back before replacement can occur. We will be happy to work with you in either case to ensure you get what you need. |

| Do you Charge Sales Tax? |
| Colorado State law requires that we charge sales tax if you live in CO. Internet orders outside of CO will not be charged sales tax. |
| What if I'm non-profit, military or a reseller? |
| If you have a tax-exempt identification number or are a business buying your items wholesale from us for resale to another customer, you will not be charged sales tax. We must have your information on file and you must login to your account when placing order to ensure you are not charged the sales tax. |

| Do you require a deposit on my order? |
| If your order is over $150, we require a 50% deposit to process the order. The remaining balance is charged upon shipping, delivery or pickup (as applicable). Many internet companies charge the full amount upon receiving the order, we choose to use the deposit to get the order underway instead. If you prefer, or your company requires, we can charge the full amount upon receiving the order. Just let us know when we call to confirm your order. | What if I need my order NOW? |
| If you need something right away, today, we maybe able to help. We do keep some common items in stock that might satisfy your needs. If you need something that we don't have in stock, we can have it over-nighted to us. We will pass the over-night fee on to you at the actual cost (no markup). If we have the item or you have an item and it needs to be engraved right away, a rush order fee may be applied on a case by case basis. Often we waive this out of courtesy for very basic engravings. |

| What is Basic Engraving? |
Basically this means we don't have to edit the text or graphics prior to engraving. Generally speaking, Basic Engraving will work out to about 4-6 lines of engraving. This isn't a hard and fast rule, but engraving 20 lines on a 10x20 plaque would not be considered Basic Engraving.

| How much do you charge for Additional Engraving? |
This depends on each job. Generally speaking we charge .50-.70 per square inch depending on the material being engraved. However, there are other factors that may come into play such as Art Fees, Color Fill, etc. that may change the overall cost.

| What is Color Fill? |
Color fill is a good way to add a little extra "pop" to an engraving. Typically used on veneer plaques, we would engrave an area out, then use paint to fill the engraved area. This has the effect of turning the text or clip art what ever color you want. Great for showing school spirit! There are limits though...color filling with more than one color on the same graphic can have mixed results and requires additional charges. However, we can usually color fill a logo in one color and the text in another color with no problem!

| What kind of engraving do you do? |
We currently only offer Laser Engraving. We like the flexibility, precision, and crispness of the laser. Although this will engrave and cut many objects, it does have some limitations. For example, we can not engrave on jewelry, some hard metals, or very large objects. For a list of some of the items it can engrave, click here.

| Will you engrave this mug I bought from the dollar store? |
In most cases the answer to this is, "Yes, but we may not be able to guarantee the results." Items that are not supplied by our vendors have mixed results sometimes. Some items engrave beautifully on the first try and some take experimentation to get just the right power/speed required for a nice engraving. This service could also result in an additional charge because of the time and risk involved. Read our official policy on this subject on our Policies page.

| Will you engrave this Cowboys logo on a mug for me? |
We can not engrave copywrited logos or pictures without the permission of the owner. By accepting our terms and conditions when you place your order, you are certifying that you have permission or own the right to use any graphics you submit. Review our official Policy on this before sending artwork.

| Do you give discount for large orders? |
| Yes! We have quantity discounts for almost all of our items. Some start at just 5 or 6 items and some don't start until 15-20 items. It really depends on what the item is and where we get a price break when we buy them. |
